Birds in the wild are constantly chewing and foraging so it's important to mimic this for our pet birds by providing them with safe toys that mimic those behaviors. Because birds are so intelligent, without appropriate toys they can become bored and depressed which can lead to feather plucking, excessive screaming, anxiety and other unwanted behaviors.
